Leadership

Peter Frogley

Peter was on the original Bethesda executive in the 1980s. He and his wife Kaye have two married children, David and Carol, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Peter entered the ministry in South Australia in 1978 and has pastored three churches. He is currently the senior minister of Ginninderra Christian Church in Canberra, where he has been pastoring since 1990. In addition to his work amongst the churches Peter is also the founding director of Light Educational Ministries – a ministry in Christian education. LEM serves Christian schools and home educators with curriculum materials, training and assistance, both in Australia and overseas. Peter travels overseas frequently as part of BMi’s international missions network.

Kevin Donohue

Kevin is Senior Minister at Tamar Valley Christian Church in Exeter, Tasmania. He and his wife Lyn have a heart for people - whether it is young children, teenagers, young marrieds or seniors, regardless of geographical location, they have a strong desire to see them fulfilled and prospering in God’s purposes for their lives. Kevin continues to build strong and vital connections with BMi Philippines and regularly leads teams travelling there from Australia.

Chris Whiting

Senior Minister at Open Door Christian Church in Melbourne, Chris joined the BMi National Leadership Team in 2016. His background is in business and economics, running a small consultancy firm called Oida Consulting. His analytical mind and prolific reading have given him an extensive body of theological knowledge, combined with a keen ability to interpret and communicate that knowledge. Chris has been a leading contributor to the establishment and success of the BMi Summer School program, a week-long conference designed to explore and study God and His Word.

Rod Klimionok

Rod retired from a long career as school principal at Temple College in Adelaide in 2017 and shortly afterwards joined the BMi National Leadership Team. Previous to his school tenure he had extensive pastoral and church oversight experience in churches in South Australia, Queensland and the USA. Rod has key gifts in the areas of training and mentoring, with a desire to facilitate younger people growing into the ministry calls that God has placed on their lives. He and his wife Leah are currently living on the Gold Coast.
